Welcome

I've been told that life is ten percent what happens to us and ninety percent how we respond to it.  That's the second half of the title (input/output). The first half are my initials, of course, but also, when you pronounce M.T. quickly, it sounds like "empty."  This sounds pessimistic or cynical at first, but really what I hope I can dictate here in words to someone who reads this is that our response to events are never perfect. We're human.  We do wrong and sin.  So, this blog is about my response to my life's events, and perhaps, I can do a few things right through God.

I've had the thought about blogging in the back of my mind for some time now.  Recently, I have read some blogs of my friends and my sister, and I also saw the movie Julie and Julia (go ahead and laugh).  But what would by my purpose in blogging?  Lots of people do it, so it certainly not for the number of people who follow me.  My degree is in Computer and Information Technology.  I could write about technology, but that just didn't seem to blow my dress up.  Lots of other people have much more experience in computing, and any technology that was, is, or is to come has already been written about to some extent.  How about my life? No one is doing that.  At the moment it makes sense.  I just graduated last month, I don't have a job, and I am unsure of my response.  I am at an interesting spot in life, and I thought it appropriate to start writing about it.  So, what's the purpose? Me. Sounds selfish, but I think this will actually help me get my thoughts organized of where I am right now, in particular, and get some feedback while doing so.
